CJ’ Week 11 (already?) Results

Oh Halloween…how I hate thee…
 
Week 10 Results:
  • Weight: Now 232.8 lbs, Previous 233.4, Total Change -0.6 lbs
  • Fat: Now 37.4%, Previous 36.6%, Total Change +0.8%
  • H20: Now 42.3%, Previous 42.2%, Total Change +0.1
  • Muscle: Now 37.4%, Previous 37.4%, Total Change Nil

Well, down 0.6 lbs…huh? That’s a surprise…figured I was going to be up again…

I’ve been bad…Halloween candy and eating any left over calories at night…<shame>

At the end of every day, I’m looking at any unused calories and saying, “Hell, I can have a couple of sandwiches or that ice cream because I have the calories left!”. Bad CJ…bad!

I think I am not eating enough during the day. I bought a digital scale on the weekend and am weighing my food, so I can get a better concept of what how many ounces of a food look like. For example, I thought I was eating (on average) 6 ounces of lunch meat per sandwich. Turns out its around 1.5 oz.

I started the 10K training program. Very different instructors. More structured, almost to the point of militant. Time will tell. We’re even talking about doing the Around the Bay Road Race as a relay team in March. Kinda lofty, but, by December, I should be running 10K. Also, being the gear geek I like to think I am, I bought the Garmin Forerunner 305, a GPS watch. Nice unit, but haven’t figured out 1/4 of the things it can do. Like, the Heart Rate Monitor. Hell, a fellow runner had to show me how to turn on the back-light…bad geek, bad!

Goals for this week:

  • No eating after 8:00 pm
  • No Halloween candy (except as desert, then only one piece)
  • Eat more during to day to help avoid the “cram sessions” at night.
